Ayla is a designer, writer, and facilitator who is fascinated by the possibility that we can be intentional about how we live, and that design might teach us how to do it better.
Ayla joined Adaptive Path after successfully running her own design consultancy for over 2 years. Beyond her consulting practice, she co-founded 1THING, a social application for recording and sharing gratitude on the web and iOS; and authored a book, Dating By Design: a toolkit for improving the functionality and sustainability of romantic relationships. Her PechaKucha talk on the subject was named one of the top 20 talks of 2013.
Her work has also been published in GOOD Magazine, Applied Arts, The Bold Italic and more. She was featured on the Women And Tech blog and named one of the Rising Stars of Toronto’s Young Entrepreneurs Scene in The Globe and Mail (Canada).
